GALVANIC EXTIMACY RESPONDER BY KRISTIN NEIDLINGER

Here is a Galvanic Extimacy Responder (GER) is an externalized intimacy — a display of the personal in the world — the interface by which we identify with the other so that we may gain greater insight of the self. GER has designed by designer Kristin Neidlinger. Inspired by Jacques Lacan's "extimacy," the GER visually displays the wearer’s emotional state for both the self and other.

The Galvanized Skin Response (GSR) tracks the body's responses and projects the palette of red for excited or nervous and blue for calm and relaxed, which is traditionally used for a lie detector test. It reads your nervousness (sweat level) and responds with graph data. Then, that was translated to an LED visual display.
