RED OR BLACK DRESS FOR PROM

Red or black dress is sophisticated and sexy choice. In the modern eye, light-colored dresses seem less like formal attire for an evening of dinner and dancing than red or black. The "lady in the red dress" is a siren; the red dress speaks loudly ! When choosing a red dress, be prepared to receive a lot of attention. Focus on a dress and fabric that will enhance your body style by framing your best features.

Consider keeping your shoes, bag, and other accessories neutral and classic so that they don't "fight" with the dress. While the red dress will be something everyone remembers, you will be able to use the accessories again and again. Decide which colors flatter your skin tone.

If you choose a full length red dress, particularly one of shiny satin, taffeta, or a great deal of tulle, consider getting one which can be altered for club wear and semi-formal occasions . Even a short red dress is more formal than a short dress of another color, however.

The "little black dress" is a style staple, but it is more common for cocktail, not formal (black tie/white tie) events like prom. Should you choose a short black dress for prom, you will probably want to choose something which is simple and chic, because you will undoubtedly be wearing the dress again and again, for all different sorts of events. Look for a style you can dress up for prom and other formal occasions, perhaps with stockings with rhinestones or seams or patterns, with unusual shoes of any color, and with a suite of elegant accessories: evening bag, shrug, jewelry, and your flowers. You can dress it "down" with simpler accessories for openings, concerts, and dinner out on the town. You can also jazz it up for clubbing.

If you choose a full length black dress, you may want to consider getting one which can be shortened into a "little black dress," such as a streamlined gown with an unusual neckline or back, but with a relatively simple waist and skirt.

If you don't shorten your black dress, you'll be able to wear it for formal evenings, on the prom night, to look gorgeous and to hear the wow!

If you don't have to worry about wearing your prom dress a second time, go wild! And either a red dress or a black dress is wild.

50TH ANNIVERSARY SANRIO HELLO KITTY USB FLASH DRIVE

It seems like Sanrio is always celebrating some kind of birthday, and for the company’s 50th anniversary they’ve busted out more than their fair share of gear. This time, it’s a “classic” Hello Kitty USB flash drive that comes in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB capacities. We’re kind of in love with Kitty’s elongated face on this model, so if you so choose, you can grab one of these up for a starting price of USD$35.

BOEING SOLAR EAGLE

Here Boeing Solar Eagle is a uniquely configured, large unmanned aircraft designed to eventually remain on station at stratospheric. People used to build airplanes to go faster, and carry more chicks on board. But apparently DARPA wasn’t in the mood to do that. No, they wanted to be on board for 5 freaking years! So, they’ve slid Boeing a cool USD$89 million to develop a plane that will stay in the air for five years, just so they can party nonstop. The 435-foot-wingspan’d SolarEagle will do just that. It will use photovoltaics to help keep it at 65,000 feet, where Boeing spokesman Pat O’Neil says it will “perform persistent communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions,” which we hope means it will just be hanging around doing “how’s the weather down there” tweets all day long. SolarEagle’s first demo flight is slated for 2014. Sadly there’s no seat for anyone.

DELL RELEASES GALAXY TABLET CHALLENGER

Here's the big daddy of the mighty Dell Inc., Michael Dell has teased the rest of the public with a 7-inch glass that looks kind of funky. What he pulled out from his pocket is an Android tablet. Besides showing that he could fool around with that piece of glass device, Dell also announced that the smaller Streak is heading to Best Buy next month. Mr. Dell Wednesday also said the five-inch Streak, which doubles as a smartphone, would soon be available at Best Buy Co. stores, where it will compete for shelf space with the iPad. Hopefully it’s running on Froyo, or else all fun would be spoilt.

HTC MOZART WINDOWS PHONES 7 CREDENTIALS ON CAMERA
