LG KM900 PRESS PHOTOS, NEW 3D S-CLASS UI SCREEN SHOTS

LG Korea has posted some press photos of the LG Arena KM900. It comes with 3-inch touch screen, 480 x 800 pixels, 256k colors, 8GB internal memory, 5.0-megapixel camera, HSDPA 7.2 mbps wireless connection, Wifi connectivity, A-GPS, Java, microSD slot and a dedicated multimedia chipset to enhance the speed of 3D S-Class UI.

It measures 105.9 x 55.3 x 11.95 mm at 105grams. The phone will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona and go on sale in Europe first in March next month.



The press release in Korea also stated a few other notes:

• It has a dedicated multimedia chipset to enhance the speed of 3D S-Class UI
• It support multi-touch for zooming and others
• 8GB internal memory

'S BAGGER RESTAURANT WHERE ROBOTS SERVE

This high-tech restaurant does not need human to serve. Bad news, waiters and waitresses: Your days are numbered. A new restaurant in Nuremberg, Germany, has replaced its waitstaff with a completely automated system that delivers meals to diners via a gravity-powered rail system.

Sure, while that might be kind of cool and cheap for the owners, are diners really ready to give up that personal interaction with servers? Can a computer really make good recommendations? Can you flirt with a cute computer? I didn't think so. Perhaps you shouldn't get worried about your job security just yet, waiters and waitresses.

KINDLE 2 NEW WIRELESS READING DEVICE (LATEST GENERATION)

The Kindle 2 offers a new slim design with longer battery life, faster page turns, over seven times more storage, sharper images, and a new read-to-me feature.
The new read-to-me feature basically turns the Kindle 2 into an audio book. It uses text-to-speech technology and is still an experimental feature.
Other features of the 0.36 inch thick Kindle 2 include 2GB storage, 25% Longer Battery Life than Kindle, 6-inch, 600 x 800 electronic paper display with 16 shades of grey (Kindle only had 4) and still connects only via Amazon Whispernet (3G Sprint network).

Kindle 2 has a high-resolution 6-inch electronic paper display that looks and reads like real paper, which lets users read for hours without the eyestrain caused by reading on a backlit display.

The Kindle Store currently offers more than 230,000 books and as already reported an exclusive Stephen King novel.

Amazon officially announced today as expected the Kindle 2 eBook reader. Kindle 2 sells for $359 on Amazon.com and will ship February 24th.
