UBO CAR CONCEPT

Here is another great car design called the red Ubo car concept as a project. The UBO Concept was made by Brazilian Designer Urbano Rodriguez.

DELL VENUE PRO WINDOWS PHONE 7

Dell has whooped out their own version of the Windows Phone 7 handset, albeit only one model, and a very odd one among the crowd. It’s called the Dell Venue Pro. Dell’s take on the Windows Phone 7 is a portrait slide-out QWERTY keyboard style, and it’s a huge portrait slider Windows Phone 7, at 4.1-inch. It’s a capacitive, multitouch display joined by additional back, home, and search touch-sensitive buttons. Looks typical of a WinPo7 handset, until you slide out the QWERTY keyboard hiding behind.

The great news about Dell’s version is that their WVGA AMOLED screen is re-enforced with Gorilla Glass, which is famous for being tough, like a Gorilla. There’s a 5-Megapixel camera with flash at the back. The phone is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon, which seemed to be the same case for everyone else, at least on the number of muscles wise.

DIXON ADVENT AMICO AND ADVENT VEGA ANDROID

Here we go again. UK retailer Dixons has launched a couple of new Android tablets in the UK namely the Advent Amico and Advent Vega. Both models should be available starting November 1st, 2010. The Amico is a 7-inch tablet that runs on the Google Android 2.1 OS, while the Vega is a 10.1-inch model with the Google Android 2.2 OS, a capacitive multitouch display and a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core CPU. The Vega also has a 1.3MP camera, Wi-Fi and an SD card slot. The Advent Amico and Advent Vega are priced at £130 or approx. USD$207 and £250 or approx. USD$398, respectively. No idea on why one is using Android 2.1 while the other is running on Android 2.2.

STOWAWAY BATHTUB STORAGE SAVES SPACES

Wow Great design. Here is the good idea of the Stowaway bathtub storage system from GW International, which utilizes the unused space underneath the bathtub and turns it into a useful storage place for your body lotions and shampoos and facial foams and… anything you need. This is what I mean by space consciousness. By saving as much space as possible, and at the same time, making the surrounding simple and neat. Keep all the things that you need in a place where you won’t see, and taking them out easily only when you need to. What’s more, they’re easily accessible. The Stowaway bath panel is a pull-down panel with chrome baskets that allows for organized storage of toiletries and other accessories. When closed, the Stowaway bath panel looks like any other ordinary panel, but when pulled with the handle on the top edge of panel, it reveals the storage racks fitted underneath. The innovative range of bathroom storage panels was launched at KBB Birmingham in March 2010 and will start selling from the 1st of September. Great stuff indeed, if you’re thinking about renovating your house in the coming near future.
