Awesome, this little software can analyze your photographs or fractal images and turn them into sound. The full capabilities of this are endles. I can see people creating art pieces that sing, maybe hide messages in photographs or art work. The full version is available for USD$36 or approx. €25 , £23, C$39, AU$42 for a non-commercial license or USD$144 or approx €99, £91, C$156, AU$166 for a full-commercial license.
Photosounder is available for Windows (2000, XP, Server 2003 and Vista), Mac OS X 10.4+ Universal (Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard, on both PowerPC and Intel machines). It can also run on Linux using the latest development release of Wine. A demo version is available, with the ability to save the resulting sound to file disabled, and a short silence inserted every 12 seconds.
