LEGOLAND FLORIDA - OPENING IN LATE 2011

Merlin Entertainment that just purchased the 145-acre Cypress Gardens property at $22-million. They announced they are going to open the LEGOLAND Florida in late 2011 at the former Cypress Gardens theme park in Winter Haven, about 40 miles from Disney World. It is going to turn the shuttered site into a multiday resort – hotels, attractions from other holdings – including SeaLife Aquarium, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum and the London Eye Ferris wheel. It may be similar to this, take a look at the California park.




"The new park's marquee Miniland, featuring cityscapes built from Lego bricks, will include a section depicting famous Florida landmarks."
